Diego’s classes offer a dynamic and physically stimulating experience. Starting with improvisation exercises, the focus is on enhancing mobility and strength through a combination of internal exploration and movement research exercises, fostering greater body awareness and refining precision in both internal and external decision-making.
Throughout the class, special attention is given to different parts of the body, allowing for movement dissociation and a deeper understanding of body mechanics. The goal is to work from the center outward while simultaneously developing a detailed perception of each part individually, ultimately achieving an almost holistic comprehension of movement.
The extensive use of floorwork offers a fresh perspective on working with the ground and its application in dance.
A fundamental pillar of his classes is the development of creativity and individuality in movement. Participants are encouraged to explore their own voice in every gesture, promoting a continuous search for new pathways and the full integration of their being into their work.
