Synopsis
Persona is conceived as a performance that explores communication and identity under the pressures of acceleration and alienation. The work understands «persona» from its etymological root (per-sonare), meaning «to sound through,» deconstructing social masks to give voice to the underlying humanity. Persona investigates empathy, the effects of technology, social structures, and alternative ways of relating and being present in a world dominated by speed and productivity.
